Every season for the last 20 plus years it's been my honor to keep a pledge and keep tabs on all the D1 Nation Alumni playing Division One college basketball. On a daily basis throughout the season I cull through the box scores to acknowledge the players who've had double digit scoring or rebounding and to update on any honors they may have earned.
I've been fortunate to have had over 300 Division One Alumni come through our program, including 11 NBA players. Basketball has been a blessing to me as I've been fortunate to have done scouts and evaluations for several NBA teams, been involved running the NBA Draft Combine and having represented Adidas basketball for many years both domestically and abroad. All of that pales when compared to the joy and pride I feel seeing our alumni chase their dreams.
The 2018-19 season is now under way and opening night saw a number of outstanding D1 Nation Alumni performances. You can check back here daily with me to see how all our guys are doing. Here's to great wishes to all our alums at every level to have productive and healthy campaigns.- Coach Ivany
