Below is a breakdown of college coaches who have communicated with me about different players during the April Live Period along with a scouting report in regards to what they could bring to a college program.

#2   2018/PG 6'0" 175 Deon Blakemore, Jr. (The Woodlands, Tx. / College Park HS)

Scouting Report: Deon is excellent at breaking down the defense off the dribble. He leads Texas D1 Houston in points per game (14.9) and assist per game (3.4) courtesy of his ability to create shots for himself and others. Deon has a quick release from all three levels and can shoot it well when closely guarded. He has the ability to catch and shoot or shoot off the dribble from three point range. He leads the team in three point shooting percentage making 41% (20/48) of his attempts. Deon is a high percentage shooter from the free throw line as well at 81% (39/48). He has next level court speed, first step, and lateral quickness defensively.

Recruitment: Deon has received phone calls from South Dakota, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and Texas Rio-Grande Valley.

#13    2018 / F 6'7" 195 Jayden Martinez (Cibolo, Tx. / Cibolo Steele HS)

Scouting Report: Jayden is a lean and agile forward who has the versatility to score on all three levels. Jayden can shoot a respectable percentage from behind the arc as well as make contested mid-range pull ups. He also has an array of low post moves offensively . Jayden has good lateral movement on the defensive end and gets out in transition well. He is long and active on defense with the ability  to get a lot of deflections, block shots, and steals. Great kid who is coach able and well manured.

Recruitment: Jayden is receiving phone calls from the University of   Northern Colorado. New Hampshire has also expressed interest in getting involved in Jayden's recruitment process.

#23  2018 / SG 6'3" 180 Life Granville (Sugarland, Tx. / Second Baptist HS)

Scouting Report: Life can do a little bit of everything. He has the ability to make his way to the rim to finish lay-ups and get his defender off balance and pull-up from mid-range. Life is also a threat from three point land when hot and a scrappy player who competes on both ends of the court.

Recruitment: Life is receiving interest from division one schools with high academic standards such as Cornell and Mount St. Mary's. Division two St. Edwards University has invited Life on an unofficial visit to their campus.

#5  2017 / SF 6'5" 200 Tim Samuel (Clute, Tx. / Brazoswood HS)

Scouting Report:  Tim is a next level small forward who can rebound, drive, shoot the three, and defend on the wing. He has added on muscle to be ready for the physicality of the college game. Great fit for any program looking for a small forward who can contribute early.

Recruitment:  Tim has received a scholarship offer and been on an official visit to Post University a division two school in school in Waterbury, Connecticut. Division one schools have expressed interest but no offers have been extended.

#21 2017 / C 6'8" 190 Quincey Trammell (Spring, Tx. / Home School)

Scouting Report: Quincey is a shot blocker with long arms who can catch and finish around the rim offensively. Has good court speed in transition and can beat his man down the court and finish with a dunk when given the opportunity.

Recruitment: At this time Quincey has an opportunity to attend Texas Southern University as an invited walk-on.

Other Texas D1 Ambassadors who need to be on college coaches watch list!!!!

#25  2018 / SG 6'2 180 Jailyn McQueen (Katy, Tx. / Cypress Lakes HS)

Scouting Report:  Jailyn is the type of player every coach loves to have on their team. He is a glue guy who plays hard every possession, grabs rebounds from the wing, makes good passes, and looks to motivate and keep teammates focused throughout the game. Jailyn has excellent lateral quickness, court speed, and endurance combined with toughness and a competitive spirit which make him a great lock down defender against opposing point guards and wing players. Offensively he is a solid three point shooter who can make his way to the rim when given the opportunity. Jailyn makes good grades and should qualify to attend a college with high academic standards.

#10  2018 / PG 5'11"  165 Alex Dehoyos (Friendswood, Tx. / Friendswood HS)

Scouting Report: Alex is a crafty point guard who can run a team and knock down three's at a high percentage. He was an All-County & All-District Player at Friendswood High School who averaged 14.4ppg.

#1   2018 / SF 6'4"  185  Gabe Bazile  (Humble, Tx. / Atascocita HS)

Scouting Report:  Gabe has a nose for rebounds and can drive and finish around the rim. Loves to shoot the three ball. Has a great understanding of the game and is coach-able and well manured. Gabe has great academics and would be a good fit for any program.

#5   2018 / PF  6'6"  190  Simeon Soname (Pearland, Tx. / Shadow Creek HS)

Scouting Report: Simeon is new to the Texas D1 Ambassadors-Houston. He is a high-flying forward who loves to put opposing defenders on a poster. Simeon rebounds outside of his area and plays with an edge. He has good hands and can catch and finish with authority in the paint. Simeon does a good job as a rim protector on defense rotating to block shots.

The Texas D1 Ambassadors- Houston will be playing in the Texas Great American Shootout in San Antonio May 13-14.
