Not too often we head up to Nebraska for coverage of a young player, but there's a nifty one there in Class of 2022's Quinten Hupp. Hupp lives in Lincoln, Nebraska which is SOLIDLY Cornhusker country.

It's fun to recognize young players and then to watch their development. Lefty's are always intriguing. He has a High IQ for game, combined with skill and aggression.

Hupp goes strong to the hoop, where he can finish with either hand.  If you give him any room outside he will knock down the three pointer. He's willing to crash the boards and use his speed to get out on transition. looking for easy buckets for his team mates.

On his current winter team (Omaha Sports Academy) he is averaging 25 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 8 steals. Those are some eye popping numbers. Only a 7th grader, he's still slightly built, but time will take care of that. There is plenty of time to grow into his body, while adding muscle and weight. According to his family he should reach 6'6" and if he does, along with his skill set, then he will be a load at any level.

Hupp also excels where it really counts; in the class room where he currently sports a nifty 4.0 GPA.
