Clarendon 67 Wellington 50

Wellington is always a tough opponent, but it helps if you jump on a team early.  That's what Clarendon did as they held an 18-8 first quarter edge and they never relinquished it finishing strong with a 67-50 win.

Senior Donovan Thompson led the way with 17 points, while Sophomore Jmaury Davis followed with 16.

Clarendon Lady Broncos Split A Pair

Clarendon Lady Broncos split a pair last week, beating Wheeler 62-44 and dropping a 53-43 decision to Wellington.

In the loss to Wellington, Seniors Jade Benson (14 points) and Ashlynn Crawford (10 points) led the way.  Benson did most of her damage from the free throw line going 10 of 14 from the charity stripe.  Coach Conkin was adamant that Crawford has really elevated her game on the defensive side of the ball since the beginning of district play.

In the win over Wheeler, Benson was en fuego tallying a season high 27 points. Noother Lady Bronco was in double figures.
