Brian Long

The Texas D1 Ambassadors have many storied alumni at the college, NBA and overseas pro level.  One of my favorite players and families over the years has been Brian Long a 25 year old 6'5" wing guard from Killeen High School, Texas.  Brian first came to play for me when he was 12 years old and is a high character young man from a high character family.  His father,, Henry Pantoja is a highly decorated US Army NCO.

During his career at Killeen High School (TX), Long earned All District and All Region Honors earning a scholarship offer to Division One, Texas-Rio Grande Valley.  A late coaching change caused him to re-open his recruitment and Long decided to stay close to home at University of Mary Hardin Baylor.

Long had an outstanding collegiate career earning many honors including 4 time American Southwest Conference Player of the Week, 2 times American Southwest Conference West Division First Team, and American Southwest Conference's All Conference Team.

Brian completed his first year as a professional in the 2019-20 season playin Bosnia, in their top league, LIGA 12 Bosnian Basketball League.  He played for KK Bratunac.

Long averaged 6 points/3 rebounds per game as a first year pro.  The 6'5" athletic wing guard is a tough defender and an adequate shooter.  His strengths are as an athletic slasher who rebounds his position exceptionally well.

Brian is currently looking to hire a new agent as well as to find his next job overseas.  Feel free to contact him directly at 1-912-980-4857 or if you're in need of a reference you can contact me, Coach Max Ivany at 1-512-773-1026
