Welcome Edwin Glosson Back To The D1 Nation

Business is business but it sure is nice to be involved with a trusted, respected and loyal long time friend in Coach Edwin Glosson. I'm excited to be reunited with Coach Glosson as he returns as our Director of Basketball for the San Antonio and South Texas Area. It seems like yesterday when as a fresh faced youngster out of TCU, Edwin approached me about coaching one of our D1 Ambassadors teams.  Quite simply he did an amazing job.

Now, close to 20 years later he's got a family of his own and has been married 17 years. He's developed into one of the highest quality trainers and coaches in San Antonio.  Over the years he's coached at the high school level and also ran his own club.  As with all D1 Nation Affiliates, both Edwin and I pledge to continue to increase opportunities for boy and girls in the Alamo City and hope to leave the game better than we found it. Thanks for your friendship over the years, Edwin and welcome HOME. - Coach Ivany

Edwin Glosson Autobiography

Hi.  I'm Coach Edwin Glosson. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX where I graduated from Antonian College Prepatory High School.  After graduation I accepted a basketball scholarship to Midland (TX) Junior College where I played my freshman year before transferring to Texas Christian University.  I ultimately graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communications from TCU.

I have over 15 years of middle school, high school, skill development, and club coaching experience here in the San Antonio area. Included in that was coaching at San Antonio, TX/Warren HS. I've got a long history with the D1 Nation as I coached several of their teams in the past  It was my pleasure to have coached D1 Ambassador alumni Max Yon (Air Force), Dylan Cox (Army), Dylan Elias (Northern Colorado) and Ta'Shawn Thomas (Oklahoma).  Also, I've served as a Basketball Instructor with Point Guard College.

I'm also a proud member of Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). When I'm not in the gym I enjoy spending time with my wife of 17 years, Sharon and our two children Bria (10 years old) and Brandon (6 years old), both who are aspring young basketball players.
