VOTING ENDS FRIDAY DECEMBER 1ST AT MIDNIGHT

The majority of youth football leagues in Texas had their Championship Games this past weekend. Be sure to vote for your favorite player.  One vote per fan.  Feel free to like and SHARE the post on Facebook or youth forums around the State so we can acknowledge these great young athletes. Only positive comments please, no chest beating by the adults.

In TSYFL, the San Antonio Outlaws brought home the Chip with an impressive 27-14 win over the DFW Ravens.  Ashton Dubose was a two way star for the Outlaws as he passed for 40 and 70 yard scores, and then brought the wood at outside linebacker, including three tackles for a loss and an INT, which he took to the house.

The SA Outlaws' sidekick to Dubose was RB Carson Green. He had 5 touches, but made them count as he had 100 yards, including one TD rushing and another receiving.

The DFW Ravens have a special player in RB Javien Toviano. "Baby J" was a workhorse as he had 17 touches for 120 yards and both Ravens scores. There are some bruises today on the Outlaws defensive players from trying to wrap this  young man up.

The North Texas Youth Football League crowned their champion in 12U. It was the Dallas Seahawks in a 27-13 win over the Redbird Raiders. RB Nisaiah Jackson led the way. He was a load as "Fat Daddy" toted the rock for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns.  This reminded me of an old Houston Oilers' Bum Philiips quote when asked if he thought it was tough for Earl Campbell to have that many carries.  His response, "That ball ain't heavy"  HAHA

Meanwhile, TYFA is still playing out their playoff bracket but a heavy favorite to earn top honors has to be the Houston Renegades as they mashed the North Houston Panthers. RB Xavier Owens set the tone with a 65 yard kick off return for a TD and added another TD as he had 3 rushing touches for 70 more yards.  "Take off that helmet son and relax, you've got a potential championship game to play in your near future."-Brandon Hernandez
